LAMOINE – Frederick E. Hutchinson, a native of the rural Maine town of Atkinson who graduated from the University of Maine in 1953 and later became his alma mater’s president, died Wednesday in Bangor at the age of 79.
A memorial service will be held April 13, 2010, at All Souls Congregational Church, 10 Broadway, Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. James L. Haddix, pastor and teacher, officiating.
