COTTAGE GROVE, Ore. (AP) – Arson charges have been filed against three Cottage Grove residents accused of igniting forest fires last September.

Douglas County sheriff’s spokesman, Dwes Hutson, says DNA evidence from a sock the group allegedly used to make a Molotov cocktail led investigators to the suspects.

Charged with two felony counts of first-degree are 28-year-old Christina Waters, 21-year-old William Dinnell and 17-year-old Tiffany Hawkins.
