Political affiliation change deadline today
AUGUSTA, Maine—The deadline is closing in for Maine voters to change their political party affiliations before the June 8 primary election.
The Secretary of State’s office says Mainers who are now enrolled as a Democrat, Republican or Green Independent have until the end of Monday to change their party affiliations before the upcoming primary. Residents can vote in a party primary only if they are enrolled in that party.
