2026 Master Logger Workshops:
Designed for company owners and supervisors, the workshops are field-focused, half-day sessions designed to get into real-world application of timber stand improvement (TSI), including crop tree release, beech control strategies, operational layout, and—importantly—how to accurately track and understand your true $/acre costs.
Each workshop will also include a practical review of audit preparation to help you stay ready for field verification.
These workshops are sponsored by the New England Forestry Foundation (NEFF) and will highlight how TSI work aligns with NEFF’s AMP program, including cost-share opportunities and expectations for documentation and long-term stand improvement. This funding allows for a reimbursement of $500/participant from Master Logger Certified companies (limit of 5 per company).
All sessions run 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM and will be held entirely in the field. (Lunch is provided)
Hard hats and safety vests are required.
