The Professional Logging Contractors of the Northeast (PLC) is thrilled to invite you to our 30th Anniversary Annual Meeting and Log A Load for Kids Auction on May 8th–9th, 2025. This milestone year promises to be our most memorable year yet, held at the beautiful Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine!
In 2024, we raised more than $186,000 for Log-A-Load for Kids and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, and in 2025, we will continue to make miracles happen. We are proud to support Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, Maine Health Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital and University of Vermont Children’s Hospital, helping children in both Maine and Vermont. We look forward to celebrating this special anniversary with you and making a lasting difference together!

Thursday, May 8
Shuckin’ Fun: Timber, Tides, and Ferry Rides
Join us for a scenic ferry ride from Rockland to North Haven Island, for a day on the coast. We’ll visit a local logging harvest site, enjoy lunch with pizza & island brewed beer, and then take a guided tour of an oyster farm where you’ll learn to shuck fresh Maine oysters. After a great day of food, drink & local sights, we’ll head back to the mainland for a social at Samoset Club House. Guests welcome! 15% of the cost of this outing will be donated to Log A Load for Kids!
Friday, May 9
Friday is packed with valuable learning and networking opportunities, featuring informative educational sessions and board meetings throughout the day. Take a. afternoon break at our beer tent, fire pits, and a live chainsaw carving demo by Dan Burns from BurnsBears. Cap off the evening with our much-anticipated Log-A-Load Auction with our special guests from the cast of Maine Cabin Masters!
