PLC statement on the loss of Alden Robbins

The logging and trucking community in Maine is heartbroken to hear the devastating news that Alden Robbins has passed away after sustaining life threatening injuries on May 15th. Alden was a stalwart supporter of the logging community and attended the PLC’s annual meeting just eight days before the tragic accident at his family’s mill. He will be remembered always as a committed father, a loving son, brother, husband, a steadfast member of his community and a passionate advocate for the forest economy, which he loved dearly.  Our hearts are with Alden’s family and we will continue to pray for all of them at this most challenging time.
