Cross Insurance buys Mass. firm

Bangor-based Cross Insurance has bought Mazonson LLC, an insurance brokerage firm in Wakefield, Mass.

The Wakefield location will become a satellite office of Cross, to be called Cross Insurance Wakefield. The 75-year-old insurance brokerage has 34 employees, and will be represent a significant expansion into Massachusetts by Cross.
