2026 Master Logger Workshops:

Our next Master Logger Best Practices Workshop is on September 24th, 2026 on forestland owned and managed by WoodWise Land Company in Williamstown, NY, and space is limited to 40 participants so early registration in encouraged!

This workshop is designed to provide a hands-on understanding of timber stand improvement (TSI) practices.  Participants will review practical, site-specific prescriptions and cost considerations by evaluating untreated and treated areas to better understand crop tree release and operational decision-making. The session will also include an overview of Master Logger Certification Program® (MLCP) audit preparation, helping contractors understand expectations and identify opportunities to strengthen their readiness for field verification.

The workshop will be held entirely in the field in Williamstown, NY. An agenda with directions to the site will be provided a week before the workshop.

Hard hats and safety vests are required.

These workshops are a great opportunity to step back from production and focus on decision-making, cost awareness, and improving outcomes on low-value or TSI-harvests.
